On August 15th, Acting New Zealand Consul-General to Shanghai Wilson Chau and NZBRiC Executive Director Anna-May Isbey met with the Chairman of the Zhejiang CCPIT Mr Chen Jianzhong. It was great to learn about Zhejiang's fast-developing economy, Zhejiang ranks 4th in terms of province by GDP. Areas of potential future cooperation were also discussed including a NZBRiC visit to Hangzhou and promoting engagement between New Zealand tech and services companies and the digital innovation hubs in Hangzhou.
