On August 17th, NZBRiC with the support of the New Zealand Consulate-General Shanghai hosted the official launch of The New Zealand Business Roundtable's first Business Outlook Report at The Warehouse Group's office in Shanghai. The report surveyed 51 New Zealand companies operating in market across 45 questions and it's purpose is to capture; the outlook of New Zealand businesses operating in China, reflect upon the challenges of the pandemic period, gauge the ease of doing business as well as the opportunities seen in market.

The launch was attended by over 50 guests from New Zealand businesses, key partners and New Zealand and Local Government representatives.

The launch was opened by Acting New Zealand Consul-General Wilson Chau, followed by a presentation of the Business Outlook Report's key insights by NZBRiC Executive Director Anna-May Isbey.

NZBRiC Chair Mark Anderton led a panel disucssion with NZBRiC members; David Boyle, CEO at PCNZ, Claire Tan, China Head of Marketing at Silver Fern Farms, Ivan Kinsella, Head of Corporate Affairs and Communications at Zespri, Zoe Li, Head of China at MitoQ and James Robertson, Trade Strategy Manager, Asia at Fonterra.
