Our Story
The New Zealand Business Roundtable in China (NZBRiC) was established in August 2018 after New Zealand’s leading companies in China recognised the shared need for greater in-market collaboration and industry representation. Together, they formed the first Board of NZBRiC.
As a preliminary organisation, the Board went through a trial phase across the first 24 months to clearly define, test and iterate the strategy, expectations, and operations of NZBRiC with its stakeholders in China. Insights from this phase, as received by the Board, confirmed the clear need for NZBRiC as a representative platform and member association for New Zealand business. Consequently, our organisation based in Shanghai was officially formed under the registered name 'The NZBRiC Limited'.
Today, NZBRiC is the leading not-for-profit representational platform dedicated to promoting New Zealand’s business interests in China.
Through our efforts, we continue to strengthen bilateral ties and drive growth in key trade sectors across both nations. Additionally, we remain actively engaged with our members to provide dedicated support on policy developments, market insights, and networking opportunities.
